An outdoor, site-specific production in a Philadelphia cemetery, Carthaginians is set in a Derry, North Ireland, graveyard where seven survivors of the 1972 Bloody Sunday Massacre wait for the dead to rise. Funny and moving, savage and lyrical, Carthaginians explores a powerful landscape of love, loss, redemption, and forgiveness. Please bring chairs and blankets.
