OLIVIER WEVERS ~ World Premiere
Brussels-born dancer, choreographer, and director Olivier Wevers founded the Seattle-based dance Whim W’Him in 2009 in order to create a platform for dance innovation. Prior to establishing the company, Wevers performed as a principal dancer with prestigious companies including Pacific Northwest Ballet (PNB) and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. He was awarded a 2011 Princess Grace Choreography Fellowship, and his works have been featured in many dance festivals including the 2007 Prix de Lausanne Gala in Tokyo, PNB’s Laugh Out Loud Festival, White Bird’s 4x4’s Ballet Project, Against the Grain/Men in Dance, and Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival. After choreographing works for various companies in Canada, Japan, and the United States, Wevers will make his BalletX debut at Spring Series 2013 with a new World Premiere.

GABRIELLE LAMB ~ World Premiere
Gabrielle Lamb is an American dancer and choreographer, who currently dances with Pontus Lidberg Dance in New York. She previously performed with the Finnish National Ballet, Boston Ballet, Cleveland Ballet, and Les Grands Ballets Canadiens, among others. She is the winner of the 2009 National Choreographic Competition of Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, and her film en dedans, an exploration of dancers’ dreams and experiences, was created with BalletX in 2011 and was featured by The Film Society of Lincoln Center and Dance Films Association’s 2012 Dance on Camera event. Lamb returns to BalletX in April for Spring Series 2013, where she will present a World Premiere with the company.

TOBIN DEL CUORE ~ World Premiere
Tobin Del Cuore, an accomplished dancer, choreographer and graduate of the Juilliard School of Dance, has danced with Aszure Barton & Artists, Hubbard Street Dance Chicago, The Lyric Opera of Chicago, Mark Morris Dance Group, and Norwegian Cruise Lines. He has choreographed works for the West Australian Ballet, Hawaii’s Mid-Pacific Institute, and others. In 2010, Del Cuore joined BalletX as a dancer, and during that time he choreographed the world premiere of Beside Myself. This BalletX favorite returned to the stage of The Wilma Theater in summer 2012 in an updated version that received rave reviews. Del Cuore now returns to BalletX with warm welcome to showcase a second World Premiere with the company at Spring Series 2013.
